  Connor had his one month check up this morning. All is well, he is growing like a weed. He is about 1 kg heavier than Russell was at this age! Russell loves his little brother but still does not like it when daddy holds Connor. He gives Connor a kiss good night before bed and now tells us all he loves us. It is just the 4 of us now as Grandma and Grandad have returned to NS and we are adjusting well. Grandma would have a heart attack if she could see how messy the house is! Thanks to Grandma and Grandad for all their help. Without your help I would be in an institution by now!

  New addition to the family today !! Connor Thomas Gardiner born at 9:02 AM at a healthy 8 lbs. 9oz

  Russell is now talking up a storm. He loves watching birds and squirrels out the window and making animal sounds. He also loves to sing and dance. It is making things a little easier now that he can ask for juice, more of something or when he points to his bum and says "poo" (not that we wouldn't catch a wiff). He gives lots of kisses, especially with his new cousin Libby. Everyday is something new. He is starting to follow in mommy's footsteps and showing an interest in tools and helped mommy put his new bed together.

  Uncle Russell and Grandma were here for the last week and had a great visit. I became Uncle Russell's little shadow and repeat his every move. With Uncle Russell and Grandma's help we moved the spare room out and set up my new big boy room! I was a huge help during the move and mom taught me how to use a wrench and screw driver to set up my new bed. Grandma and Grandad will be back in a few months to help when my brother arrives and Uncle Russell is on his way out West to fight fires.

  Today I met my new cousin Elizabeth Anne Bryson Vandepeer. She was born this afternoon at 6lbs 14oz, 2 weeks before expected!

  We just got back from a week in Nova Scotia where I was spoiled by Grandma and Grandad, mom and dad slept in every day & I TOOK MY FIRST STEPS. I can walk about 6 steps before hitting the floor, I will be running before you know it! Had a great time, got to see most my east coast friends and came back with a bit of an accent.

  Congratulations to the Shepherd's on the arrival of their new baby boy Luke! I can't wait to head up to Guelph this week to meet my newest friend!!
