  Russell is 6 months old today! We almost missed his 10:30am doctors appointment because he didn't wake up until 9:30 (which means mommy didn't either). We set a record of 30 minutes to change, feed and get out the door.
  Russell went to his first birthday party this past weekend as Hailey Wong turned one on the 27th. There was music, games, lots of food and even crafts! All the babies made tree ornaments with their handprints on them. Russell had a great time in Hailey's play pen that was filled with balls. This party will be a tough one to beat!

  Grandma was here for 2 weeks & spoiled us. I didn't know what was happening at 6am this morning when I heard Russell crying and had to get up myself to feed him!
  It is amazing how much they develop in a short two weeks. While Grandma was here Russell started solids, was weaned, started blowing bubbles and now loves to reach out to everything. He loves tummy time and is a bit of a show off.
  During Grandma's trip there was a lot of shopping, a trip to Anne Marie's in Kitchener, Russell's first Halloween (where he was the cutest little rooster) and mommy & daddy enjoyed many nights out. Scott and I went to Blue Man Group where he was brought up on stage and was made part of the act. As well, we celebrated my 30th birthday with a dinner party at the Gardiner's with lots of great food and great friends.
  For some reason Russell seams to have accidents when Grandma is around. At Ikea there was an emergency diaper change that was so full I had to wash my elbows when we were done. As we were cashing out I noticed some dry poo on Russell's head, nothing a hat won't cover!
  Nana Gardiner was in Australia part of the time while Grandma Rogers was here so Russell was never short in the Grandparent department. Upon Nana's return Russell was whisked away by Nana & Grandma to show off to the neighborhood. I would love to have been a fly on the wall in that coffee shop!
  Yesterday Russell had pictures done with Hailey, William and Parker which will be on the site soon!
