Russell's first Christmas was a busy one! Grandma and Grandad Rogers are here and spoiling him with attention. Christmas eve was at our place and the Gardiner's came over for dinner. Christmas morning started with gift opening and breakfast at Nana and Grandpa Gardiner's. Russell was kept busy at the Gardiner family dinner with lots of attention from his cousins, great aunts and unlces AND grandparents, of course! A very eventful first Christmas to say the least!
All the action from Christmas must have tired Russell out as he slept through the night on boxing day. Grandma stood over his crib waiting for him to stir so she could swoop him up.
We also had a great visit with Russell's cousins from Kitchener as Anne Marie, George and Wes came for the night last night. Russell is still seeing stars from all the pictures!Comments:Add a comment:

Aunt Jess and Uncle Steve babysat for the first time while mommy and daddy went to a Christmas party Friday night. Russell was very well behaved and judging by all the photos Steve sent us, very photogenic. When we got home we found Jess reading while Steve and Russell were sound aslseep. No tip for you! Many of Steve's works of art can be found in the December folder.
Grandma arrived yesterday and sees big changes in Russell. He is talking up a storm and full of personality. He is sitting very well now with a fall here and there.
Russell is trying more fruits and vegetables. So far the only veggie he hates is avocato. Aunt Angie was here when Russell tried it and witnessed a very dramatic dislike of avocato as Russell gagged on his food. Very cute kiddo!
Christmas is approaching and we are all very excited!Comments:Add a comment:
